| Q | Are all trees protected by law? |
| A | In most gardens and residential properties only those trees which have had a Tree Preservation Order placed upon them by the local Council or which grow in a Conservation Area designated by the local Council are protected. You should check with your Council to see if trees are protected and as this is public information they should be able to tell you straight away. |
